⚡ Physics
Forces & Motion
Push, pull, and slide objects down a ramp to see how friction and gravity change their motion.
Grade 5 · NGSS 3-PS2-1, 5-PS2-1Simple Circuits
Connect batteries, wires, and bulbs to make a light turn on (and find out why it won’t!).
Grades 4–5 · NGSS 4-PS3-2Light & Shadows
Move a flashlight around objects to see how shadows grow, shrink, and change shape.
Grades 4–5 · NGSS 4-PS4-2🧪 Chemistry
States of Matter
Heat, cool, and squeeze particles to watch them change between solid, liquid, gas, and plasma.
Grade 5 · NGSS 5-PS1-1Mixtures & Solutions
Stir salt, sand, and sugar into water and figure out how to separate them again.
Grade 5 · NGSS 5-PS1-3, 5-PS1-4Physical vs Chemical Changes
Melt, mix, fizz, and burn things, watch the scale, and decide whether a brand-new substance was made.
Grade 5 · NGSS 5-PS1-2, 5-PS1-4🌍 Earth & Space
Day, Night & Seasons
Spin and orbit a model Earth around the Sun to see why we have days, nights, and seasons.
Grade 5 · NGSS 5-ESS1-2Water Cycle
Follow a water drop as it evaporates, forms clouds, rains or snows, and flows back to the sea.
Grade 5 · NGSS 5-ESS2-1, 5-ESS2-2🌱 Life Science
Food Webs & Ecosystems
Build a food web and see what happens to everyone when one plant or animal disappears.
Grade 5 · NGSS 5-LS2-1, 5-PS3-1Plant Needs
Give a plant light, water, and air to discover what it needs to grow and make its own food.
